I can give you another one. When Axel WAS possessed by a demon (back in archived “It’s not very effective” page (number about 184 I think), he shrugged off a firestorm that came from the Magi of Fire. Later on, he outright killed same Magi and severed his connection to Fire at the same moment. Run-of-the-mill mage’s “wild fire”? So No Sell!
No, he killed Jo on the first encounter and Life brought him back. Then on the second, he separated him from his power, and Cain murdered him.

Fire is obviously the best way to fight a demon. Nobody has ever heard of fire and demons having any relation whatsoever.
