It’s one thing to use a trapdoor for the chair. It’s another to use high-speed elevator platform for your chair, yourself, and your entire work station.

I doubt any (nonconscious) escape system could save you from Axel. Or even from Lilith.

well i’m thinking that with a chute that’s square shaped and open at both ends, it’d be pretty simple to just hock a few fireballs down there and burn anything on the other side of the chute

Shiden runs on rule of cool and rule of funny. Considering the trap door escape route runs on both depending on the situation he has built it into at least one of his offices or a better version of it.
I’m thinking Shiden might have an ejector seat with jet-pack.

He probably will tie a robot chick into that too. Maybe a piggyback ride on the get away

every diabolical or suspicious person of importance needs a handy gadget for a quick getaway if things get rough. they also need something at the end of their escape to soften the landing if it’s a trapdoor, or ejector seat or something. let’s hope that guy remembered that.
